GIVE HELP

Utility Assistance Fund

With a surge in applications for assistance, we need more help in order to meet the growing need.

An Urgent Call To Action

During our most recent application cycle, more than 3,800 households reached out for emergency energy assistance in just nine days, which is nearly as many applications as our other three cycles combined.

At Generation Power CT, we believe in the strength of community to meet moments like this. When we come together, we can ensure that no family is left in the dark. Together, we can close the gap, respond with compassion, and show what’s possible when a community refuses to turn away.

Your gift today will have immediate impact: helping keep homes safe, warm, and connected with energy assistance grants through April 30.

The Utility Assistance Fund

The Utility Assistance Fund powers our Emergency Energy Assistance program—delivering immediate relief to families suffering from energy insecurity. With thousands of applications and limited funding, the need is urgent and growing. Every dollar goes directly toward helping households cover overdue utility bills, secure fuel deliveries, and prevent shutoffs that can upend work, school, and health.

This fund allows us to respond in real time, reaching families who might otherwise fall through the cracks. It ensures we can process applications quickly, deliver aid efficiently, and meet the overwhelming demand we’re seeing right now. Simply put: this is how we close the gap between families asking for help and families receiving it—and we need your support to do it.
